Demo models, simulation

At this page you can find some simple simulation models with a demonstration purpose. The models are mostly implemented as Java applets, generated from Anylogic models. (One model is however implemented in JavaScript.)

This Anylogic-model runs as a Java-applet that loads in a separate window when you click on the link above. (High speed Internet access is recommended, since the model is rather large, in total about 1,7 MB.) The applet has some built in online help and further documentation.

To run the model, a Java run-time must be installed on the computer. (Version 1.5 is required, otherwise the simulation will not run smoothly, although it might be possible to start the applet.)
Java can be downloaded free of charge from Oracle (java.com).

Agent based simulation in Anylogic

Note. Unfortunately there is a systematic bug in the applet versions of models created in Anylogic, so that an applet can only be run once - if you press the Refresh button of the web browser, the applet fails to restart. In that situation, the entire browser must be restarted if you want to run the model again (or any other Anylogic-applet). We apologize for this defect -it does however not occur when the models are run "as usual" directly in Anylogic. (As far as we know, the web browser as a whole is not otherwise affected by this problem.)
